Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday 6 August 2026, aged 86. Deeply loved husband of Janet for 64 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Judith & Herman, Robyn & Darrin, Karen & Graham, Steven & Candice, and Diane & Tim. Very loved Poppa of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Ian’s life will be held at Knox Church Waitara, 17 Grey Street, Waitara on Friday 14 August 2026 at 10:30 am followed by a private burial.
