MAGON, Dorothy (Dot):
With great sadness we announce the passing of Dot. Peacefully at Summerset Pohutukawa on Wednesday 10 June 2026 aged 96. Adored wife of the late Ron Magon. Treasured Mum and mother-in-law of Bryan, Wendy & Jay, Cheryl & the late Bruce, and Kerri & Shane. Very loved Grandma of Hanna and Matty, Melissa and Tobias, Lucy and Cole. Loved GG of Adalyn, Matilda and Vala.
A special loving and kind lady who will be dearly missed. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Summerset Pohutukawa for making mums last few years so special, and for the care and compassion shown in her end days. As per Dot’s wishes of no fuss a private cremation service has been held.
