Peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday 19 May 2026, aged 91. Loved wife of the late Douglas. Loved Mum of Carol & Alan Hawksworth, Sharon & Alani Moala, Jill & Wayne Kirkland, Annette & Ben Gittos. Loved Grandma of Geoffrey & Kim, Bethel & Patrick, Evan & Esther; Tamsin & Leith, Evie & Izaiah; Maria, Kellie, Melody & Carreel; Stephen, Annabelle, and Georgia. Loved Great Grandma of Elise, Breeja: Lukas, Lu, Alyssa; Cora; Olivia; Hakeke, Te Kipiwai; Tangaroa, and Irāia. Loved sister of Gael & Ian Riddle and their family.

A service to celebrate Suzanne’s life will be held at Knox Church Waitara, 17 Grey Street, Waitara on Monday 25 May 2026 at 11am followed by a private cremation.
