Funeral grants

In the unfortunate event of a loved one’s passing due to an injury, ACC extends support towards funeral expenses, encompassing burial, cremation, and associated ceremonies.

This funeral grant is accessible to both residents of New Zealand and international visitors, regardless of whether the funeral takes place within or outside the country.

Additionally, it can be utilised for memorial expenses in cases where the body isn’t recovered.
